28th December 1018 / 2018 1945hrs *B E E P* *B E E P* *B E E P* My phone buzzed and vibrated upon receiving a short message that i had sent to Ron, and indeed he too had started to play MMORPG - The Lord Of Red Dragon on Christmas Eve. Just as what his auntie was mentioning, Ron was going all out on the gaming platform. He was using a VR Gaming Headset instead of a gaming capsule. Besides, the gaming capsule was a single hefty investment as it cost a few thousands of dollars compared to a VR Gaming Headset. Not only that, the gaming capsule would require hookups of those S-Class and A-Class nutrients at the very least. Without that, the gamer within the gaming capsule would not be able to get the nutrients as one would slog inside the game for hours at end. I informed him that I need a Main Tank since I already knew he was playing as one. The other MT in my current team would be carrying the second division of a 7 man or 12 man team. Snowball would be performing party raids in dungeons and catacombs or just grinding for EXP and credits with the rest of the new gamers. Since we had already got the name for the Guild, now the only thing left is to have the 10 core members to put their signature. Besides, there's nothing wrong having two MT inside a team at least they would be able to hold their ground. I was delighted with Ron since he agreed to join me at Votrieburg since he had to spend almost a day travel from Ascon to here. There was a portal, and it required 500 credits to travel from one city to another. Unless you have a peerage, it only costs a mere 100 credits only. "I will hand you 500 credits as an IOU, and then you can repay me back once you have the credits on hand. Don't worry, its what a Guild Leader can do at this moment." I texted him, and Ron replied with a big thumbs up. I login into the system using my system on the table and transferred the 500 credits once he had accepted my friend's request. Easy peasy. The idealogy worked well as planned. I then informed him that I would be online a 2200hrs and would be at the Votrieburg City's portal to meet and greet him." He replied back through the short message, and I am sure he would be surprised the moment he saw me since the DNA of the gaming console matches one in the real world. After I had hooked up all the A-Class and S-Class nutrients on the gaming capsule, it was already time for me to dive back inside it. Wow...! Time really flies when you are intently doing something and also hopes to meet someone you had been with. I may have incurred a butterfly effect since I met Ron only in a few months into the MMORPG platform, but here, I had met him in mere days...! Nevertheless, I am here to harness everything from scratch. I even had to give the expression that I was a BETA TESTER after exposing some of the hidden quests to the core members. I checked with my parents and informed them that I would be immersed in the gaming capsule for another 24 hours or so since I consider that as my primary source of income. "Don't forget that you have a life here in this real world, okay? Don't go playing games until you forget about the New Year's Eve that would be in 3 days." My Nanay advised as I went over to bless and kissed them since I would be fully immersed in this few days before the New Year. "Don't worry, the ingame menu also would give us gamers a reminder that it is already New Year's Eve and I guessed there would be presents for us as well there." I replied to them as I skipped merrily back to my bedroom and closed the door with a click. I stripped off the clothes that I had worn earlier and threw them in the laundry basket. I had my sports bra and boxers on as usual, and the weights on both my wrists and ankles are still there. The only thing is that I would be adding more wrist and ankle weights to them in due course. I lay down inside the gaming capsule and found that the memory lining inside had regained its original shape. I placed the gauntlet on my right forearm that helped to infuse the nutrients. It was a form of recognition for the system to recognise the host through the DNA process. I closed the lid of the gaming capsule with a hiss, and a few moments later, I arrived in Votrieburg City in The Unarmed King's tavern. I looked around from the bed I lay on, and everything seemed the way it was before. I logged into the MMORPG 45 minutes before the appointed time to meet the core members. Ron would appear through the portal at the appointed time too. After ensuring that I had everything ready, I walked out and headed for the Town Square. The town square was filled with people, and I checked the leaderboards and saw the names of the first 7 still remained there. Since I was walking around with a masked ID, no one knows whether I was an NPC or a gamer. I could eavesdrop on conversations that other gamers were talking and discussing loudly. "Hey, I wanted to join this Silverbane workshop. I heard that the workshop has a lot of perks, and members do not have to pay any tribute to the workshop at all. There are so many workshops around now, and they are charging members at least 10% of the loot and whatever stuff they require, daily...!!!" "Damn...! 10% daily??? What are they asking for anyway?" "Anything...from what I heard they are collecting reputation points and those members needs to give out a fixed amount to the workshop daily. I wonder what's the use of this reputation points, but I am sure its worth something.' The other gamers around were discussing those reputation points. Of course, they are precious to oneself as well as to the Guild. Without those precious reputation points, no one would able to build up their Guild. Guild Leaders would face a headache since getting a peerage first would be advantageous or at most near impossible for some. However, they did not have a loophole that contributing tons of masonry would also give out reputation points and could be distributed to the Guild. Furthermore, who in the world would one needs those non-tradeable masonries that they would recover when mining at The Wintry Hills and The Bellowing Slopes. One wrong move, they would get wiped out by the Level 50 Guardian of those places...!!! I checked on the building progress of the Guild, and then went over to the Auction Hall to reserve a spot, that would be opened at 2130hrs. There, only those with peerage would be able to enter the exclusive section as the usual auction items could be assessed by any gamer at all. After booking a reservation slot for the Auction Hall, I went to the Town Square portal and awaits for the arrival of Ron and the rest of the core members. Ron, who would be the sidekick of mine, had a rather unique ID. He ever mentioned to me that his ID would be remembered by anyone and feared by enemies. His ID would remind everyone of a TV advertisement back a few years ago. That ID would also strike fear into the hearts of many gamers throughout the MMORPG. That ID is to be known widely as - S N O W B U N N Y. I checked my system panel and browse through my friends' contact list and discovered that everyone was online right now. They must be heading to the Town Square as I saw them heading towards the Town's Portal with a large army behind them...!!! An army after being inactive for 3-4 hours...!!! Even this could be achieved with a mix of Lifestyle Gamers and Adventurers...?!?! I lauded the core members of the Guild that went all out to gather as many members as they could. Even though most would be casual gamers which would be used as Lifestyle Gamers instead. Only a handful of them is hardcore gamers from other platforms. The Lord Of The Red Dragon MMORPG had overtaken the world leaderboards for being the most talked about and sought after MMORPG platform of the century...!!! Within a few minutes, the core members arrived, and everyone saluted when they greeted me. "Alright, lieutenants. It is time for you to choose a Master Sergeant among the classes so that there will always be a chain of command. At this moment, pick the one with the highest level to be the Master Sergeant and then deploy them accordingly to their Lifestyle professions. Remember, what they reap is theirs and what we need is the semi-precious gemstones that could be used to fuse and enhanced to become better quality gemstones." The core members then chose the Master Sergeants to lead the whole group in the Lifestyle as well as the adventurers. The new gamers had received specific location to grind for credits and other resources. They were eager since they would now try to qualify to be a dedicated member of the Guild. The core members informed the new gamers of the requirements to be a member of the Guild earlier, and the new gamers find it fair. They knew that their effort would not be wasted even after giving away the semi-precious gemstones for free. As I was waiting for the briefing to end, a blue light enveloped the Town's Portal and I announced, "He is finally here...!"
