28th December 1018 / 2018 1139hrs One after another, we were being teleported out onto the surface of the catacombs. Our eyes slowly adjusted to the surroundings and the bright rays of the sun that penetrated through the foliage. We had lost track of time since we had spent close to 12 hours within the catacombs to clear all the 6 underground levels. Then, the blue coloured dazzling light that surrounds each of us suddenly glimmered all at once...!!! From their current Level 8, they had managed to level up to Level 21...! This would mean that whatever armour and weapons that they had picked inside the catacombs could be equipped already. With a sudden leap in Levels, they also had bountiful of points to allocate. Since the members had been advised not to touch any of their allocation points yet, they decided to leave them as it is. As mentioned, there would be a surprise for them once they had reached the surface, and once we had levelled up, we gathered around near the entrance of the Bowels of Stoughlin. "Listen up guys, first of all, the staff that I am wielding that had been with me since the start, would turn into a normal staff with just a +15 stats all across the board." "Secondly, I have also levelled up but not as much as you. I only had gotten to Level 15. But no matter since the levels could be raised or reduced back to Level 0 which I would be showing you very soon. Furthermore, your names would appear on the leaderboards as the Top 10 gamers already." The gamers surrounding me was delighted to hear that their names had appeared on the leaderboards. Since this catacomb diving was not a hidden quest, but rather a greyed-out mission area, there would be no notification across the worlds. Furthermore, the 7 members were the first to reach and exceed Level 20 while a lot of other Top gamers were struggling at Level 15...!!! "But Captain, why are you going back to Level 0? Then how about your stats and allocated points?" Snowball inquired since he was shocked when he heard what I would be doing next, would reduce my Level of competency down back to a N O O B I E level...!!! "Don't worry, guys. There won't be anything wrong with my statistics and the attributes. Look at your system panel right now. Can you see your reputation points or not? Killing unearthly creatures such as these would give you reputation points, and by now, you would have about 5 figures in them, am I right?" "You can exchange it at the guild. For you to earn reputation points and to exchange at a guild, would make you earn a title. Allowing you to purchase lands for residential and commercial purposes. Having a title and being in a guild also raises its popularity rankings. The higher number of gamers with nobility, the higher our popularity and the chances for upgrades from Tier 3 to Tier 2 and lastly to Tier 1 Guild Hall. There would be boundless upgrades a member can enjoy." "I would go for a cavity press soon, a wise man in Votrieburg City would be able to do it, thus freeing me the points that I would allocate soon. Besides, let me take a look at yourself first." I motioned everyone to put on their best mix of armour pieces so that I would be able to evaluate the best of everything. Besides, there would be a second profession that they need to choose beside their primary one. When they heard this secondary profession, they quickly checked their system and the previously greyed out area is now available. Everyone was able to put on their full Bronze set of armours. I looked at Snowball the Tank, and he was equipped with the Protection of Heroes complete set of Helmet, Chest Plate, Leggings and Boots. Crusader, the Guardian Knight, was well equipped with the Hope of the Sky complete set of Helmet, Chest Plate, Leggings and Boots. Next would be ShadowDancer, the Rogue, which was equipped with a complete set of Soul of Mysteries studded leather armour pieces. He was allocated with such armours due to his unique class. The others such as DragonFire the Ranger, WarPriestess the Healer, MageHunter the Wizard and PuppetMaster the Necromancer all wore cloth pieces of armour named Hidden Armour of Fallen Might, Spectral Armour of Recoil, Champion's Linen Armour and Bloodlord's Armour of the Bear. The members decided to have 2 sets of weapons which they could interchange as it has different attributes and attacks. Furthermore, the members also received some tomes and magic books which would be able to help them in their journeys when they grind the mobs for more drops and credits. "Not too shabby, guys...Not too shabby. You really had quite a good set of armours there, and I am sure that the next armours you would be putting on would bear our guild logo and name. Hahaha...!" "Captain, you mean that we would be wearing the same suit as every class? Would it be a burden and also reduces our dexterity?" ShadowDancer asked since he was afraid that the heavy type of armour would slow his movement down. "Well, if the suit of armour could enhance a plus to your dexterity, would you reject it even though it is much better than the current armour that you are wearing? Furthermore, the armour would be an all-rounder type, which means that every class would be able to wear the same type of armour regardless if he is a Wizard or even a Tank...!" Everyone gaped in surprise since this is the first time they have heard about this type of armour that could outfit any class. Besides, since it would come from our own guild, this means that we would be having our own Blacksmith and Armoursmith very soon...! Everyone was discussing among themselves, and I hollered out to them as a reminder. "Let's go see the Lich one at a time and collect our quests. Once everyone had the first quest, go to your system and click complete and then you may receive a surprise Treasure Chest. Open it and store all the stuff in them. I need recipes and books, my friends. The rest is yours to keep. Once we went to meet the Lich that was waiting at the entrance of the Bowels of Stoughlin, I went up first and greeted the Lich. "Welcome, Adventurer. I am the guardian for the Bowels of Stoughlin. There is a quest to collect 100 bones from the catacombs, would you like to accept it?" I chose to accept, and my system showed the quest that had been given to me. I clicked C O M P L E T E, and a Treasure Chest appeared in my inventory. Once I clicked on it, all the contents filled up the empty spatial storage slots. Once I am done, I gestured to everyone to do the same until PuppetMaster had received the quests. We rotated in that manner, and we got all the 6 quests and clicked C O M P L E T E once we are done. All the 6 Treasure Chest were received in that manner, and everyone got the plentiful bounty of credits and reputation points. There were some scrolls, but they are mainly BUFF and health or mana scrolls which had a 75% regeneration per use. Naaahhh...I was looking for recipes, and if I can't find them, the only place I could go to is the Auction House of Votrieburg. After completing all the quests and the members all had their pockets full right now, I raised a question for the members. "Right now, would you like to follow me back to Votrieburg and then contribute your masonry as well as your reputation points? It would go back into a Guild that I had in mind when I raised the matter with you guys back then?" "Besides, I need to look for Magistrate Maelstorm since I had something that I need to collect from him. By the way, since its coming to lunchtime, it would be best to head back since this place is still greyed-out. You can also look at your names on the leaderboard. If anyone asks you or you are being accosted by them, let them strike you first before they being taken away by the Silverlight Knights. Once you have a peerage title, I am sure you would be chased around by little puppies. By then, we would be expanding, and we need a lot of reputation points and credits to upgrade a Guild. At the meantime, let me, scout, around for a piece of land after lunch, alright?" When the rest of the members heard what I had highlighted to them, they all ayed in unison. They would prefer to remain together and build the workshop for the Lifestyle gamers and the Guild Hall together. Hearing their enthusiasm brought a desire for me to complete something that I need to do ever since I had travelled back to the past, that is the present now. After we had settled everything with the Lich, everyone was delighted by their achievements. of being able to Level Up to this stage. , all 8 of us trekked back to Votrieburg City's main gates.
