POV Amber
I was sitting on the living room couch under my parents' piercing stares. They were furious. Turns out Mandy had told the principal that we had snuck out and, on top of that, that I was bullying her.
"Don't you feel ashamed for making fun of your classmates?" my mom asked angrily. "And on top of that, you sneak out! I didn't raise you like this, Amber. You've really disappointed me."
"What happened to you, Amber? That girl is your brother's friend, she's even been here at the house... she's a good girl," my dad said, calmer than my mom but still disapproving.
