Friday! Sweet, beautiful Friday—you're one of the most beloved days by every student alive. My alarm goes off, but this time I welcome it with excitement. I jump in the shower and let the water wash the sleep off me. As steam fills the bathroom, I realize life isn't so bad when you know tomorrow you can sleep in.
I head downstairs with my backpack slung over one shoulder and my headphones plugged into my phone. I pour myself some cereal in complete silence: no morning yelling, no Dad rushing me, no Mom double-checking if I brought a jacket. Just silence, peace, and... a free car. Yes.
