The second bus left, and Jackson went off completely alone—well, without us. Rebeca was the second to get on the third bus, and I was only praying I wouldn't end up alone on one of the other yellow buses.Adam was the last student to climb into the third bus. I was definitely left all by myself.
"Amber Weys!"—this had to be a damn joke. I almost got on with Rebeca andAdam, but no, I was the very first one called for the fourth bus. Annoyed, I walked down the aisle until I reached the very last seat. I put on my headphones and let the bus fill up. I knew nobody would sit beside me, so I propped my feet up on the seat and shut my eyes to relax.
