"I haven't seen the Alpha or Sol recently, where have they gone?" I ask Essie, while flicking on my phone. I didn't want her to think that I was that bothered either way, I just needed to remain calm and poised.
Essie paused slightly. I could feel her eyes on me, so I looked up at her and smiled. I knew Sol had left, they had had that mini leaving party. I didn't know why Ama had left.
"Sol has left the Pack, she was only here while she recuperated. Ama is away on work business, she will be home soon, don't worry," she replies with a smile.
"I'm not worried," I said with a slight laugh, "I just hadn't seen her around is all."
"Uhuh. How's stuff with Penny?"
"Going good, yeh. She's training this weekend, as she's being promoted to one of the Pack Doctors, I'm so proud of her."
