The Helicopter flies over the lake, settling down about 50 feet away from the cottage. It looks exactly how I remembered it. Cottage may be the wrong word to describe it, it was technically an Earth Cottage. The cottage was built into the landscape, into one of the mountains lining the valley, as this helped maintain a core temperature within the building all year round. It was effectively a really posh hobbit house, Bilbo himself would have been jealous.
If you looked directly at it you would see floor to ceiling windows spanning a length of roughly 200 feet, as all of the main rooms of the cottage were lined up side by side, to ensure there would be natural light.
