Aurelia
I sighed as I grabbed the cleaning supplies and made my way to the guest room. I had been assigned to clean it thoroughly before the expected visitor arrived, and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect.
As I entered the room, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement. The idea that the Lycan king himself might be coming was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. I had never met the Lycan king before, but I had heard so much about him from the other members of the pack.
I set to work, cleaning every nook and cranny of the room, making sure that everything was spotless. I couldn't afford to make any mistakes - this was a very important guest, after all.
As I worked, I couldn't help but wonder why the Lycan king was coming. Was it just a routine visit, or was there something more important going on? She tried not to let her imagination run wild, but the idea that something big was happening was too exciting to ignore.
Finally, after what felt like hours of cleaning, I stepped back and admired my handiwork. The room was spotless, and everything was in its place. I couldn't have done a better job if I tried.
As I left the room, I felt a sense of accomplishment wash over me. I had done her job well, and I knew that the pack would be pleased with my work. And who knows - maybe I would even get to meet the Lycan king himself.
I continue to walk to the kitchen, I was a sign to help today, As I entered in the kitchen, I was greeted by the delicious aroma of food being prepared for the pack's important guest. The head chef, an older werewolf named Ron, was busy directing his team of cooks as they chopped vegetables, stirred pots, and grilled meats.
"Ah, aurelia, glad you could join us," Ron said, glancing up from the pot he was stirring. "We could use an extra pair of hands today."
"Of course, Jay," I replied with a smile. "What can I help with?"
"We need someone to help with the dessert," Jay said, gesturing to a large tray of fruits and pastries. "Do you have any experience with baking?"
I nodded eagerly. "Yes, I used to help my mother with baking back home. I can definitely help with the desserts."
"Excellent," Jay said, handing her a recipe book. "We're making a berry tart today, so just follow the recipe and you should be fine."
I took the recipe book and got to work, carefully measuring out ingredients and mixing them together. As I worked, I couldn't help but wonder who the important guest could be. The rumor that it was the king himself was certainly exciting, but also nerve-wracking. I knew that the pack's reputation was on the line, and they needed to make a good impression on whoever was coming.
But no matter who the guest was, I was determined to do my best and make sure that everything went smoothly.
As I was helping in the kitchen, I suddenly heard a commotion outside. Curious, I walked to the entrance of the pack house and saw a group of guards standing at attention, with a tall figure in their midst. I couldn't see his face clearly from where she was standing, but she could tell from the way he carried himself that he was someone important.
As guest entered the grand hall, my heart was pounding in my chest. I had heard rumors that the king himself was visiting, and now I found myself face to face with him.
He was even more imposing in person than I had imagined. His towering height and muscular build were impressive, and his piercing blue eyes seemed to look right through me.
I felt a mix of fear and awe as I bowed respectfully before him. The king nodded his head in acknowledgment, and I dared a quick glance up at him. I couldn't help but notice the regal air about him, as well as the subtle sadness in his eyes.
"Welcome, your Majesty," I said, My voice barely above a whisper.
The king regarded her for a moment before speaking. "Thank you, are you one of the servants here, correct?"
I nodded, not trusting myself to speak further.
The king's expression softened slightly. "I appreciate all that you and your fellow staff's do to keep this place running smoothly. Your work does not go unnoticed."
My' heart swelled with pride at the king's words, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for him.
"Thank you, Your Majesty," I said, bowing once more.
The king nodded again and turned to leave the hall, his retinue of guards and advisors following closely behind him. As he disappeared from my view.
I went back to the kitchen continue helping the cook. As i was choping some vegetable my mind drift back when i was young, I was born to a human parents who were traveling through the forest on a camping trip. They were attack by a pack of Vampire's and while my parents were killed, I survived.
I was discovered by a pair of kind-hearted werewolf who took pity on on me and decided to raise me as their own.
Growing up as a human among werewolves was not easy for the me.
I was often bullied and ostracized by the other young werewolves, who saw me as an outsider and a weakling. Despite this, I was determined to fit in and make a life for myself among the pack.
As I grew older, Their treatment to me didn't change, but im already used to it. I learn to live by mself, I work as one of the maid in the pack. they give me some money once a month and i got free meals and for this i could save some money.
"Now that I'm already 25 year's old I plan to leave the pack, I want to go to Valtara in the west part of the kingdom were human lives. I want to stay at my on kind and live there quitely."
As I walked towards my home, I couldn't help but think about everything that had happened today, I meet the king it was overwhelming.
As I arrive at home and prepare my thing. I remember the king's face he was smilling a bit but his eyes are sad. Maybe the story was true that he mourn from losing his wife the queen. Who he lost 10 year's ago from the battle of sounthern reign, with that on mind i fall asleep.
