Aurelia
As the warriors were on their free time, I found myself with little to do. I decided to lend a hand to the chambermaids who were busy cleaning the palace. As I worked alongside with them, I couldn't help but notice how hardworking they are.
They never complained and worked tirelessly to ensure that the palace was always in pristine condition. I admired their dedication and felt grateful for the opportunity to work with them.
As we were cleaning one of the guest rooms, I accidentally knocked over a vase, causing it to shatter into a million pieces. I felt my face turn red with embarrassment as I apologized profusely to the them. They simply laughed and reassured me that accidents happen and that it was no big deal.
Grateful for their understanding, I offered to serve the king's meal for the day as a way to make it up to them. The chambermaids happily agreed, and I quickly went to the kitchen to prepare the meal.
I carefully selected the freshest ingredients and prepared them with great care, wanting to impress the king with my culinary skills. As I cooked, I couldn't help but wonder if I could learn archery in my free time.
Finally, the meal was ready, and I brought it to the king's Office with a smile on My face.
I knock on the door, There was a brief pause before the king's voice answered from within, "Please, come in."
I pushed open the door and stepped inside, holding the tray of food in front of me. The king was seated behind his desk, studying a map spread out in front of him. He looked up as I entered and offered me a warm smile.
"Ah, thank you for bringing the food, Aurelia," he said, gesturing to a small table in the corner of the room. "Just set it down there, please."
I nodded and made my way over to the table, placing the tray carefully on the surface. The smell of the freshly cooked meal wafted up to my nose, making my mouth water.
"I hope you enjoy it, Your Majesty," I said with a small smile,
After eating the king was pleased with the meal and commended Aurelia for my cooking skills.
"Aurelia, this meal was truly exceptional, You have a real talent for cooking" the king said.
"Thank you, Your Majesty. It is an honor to serve you." I happily answered.
"I have been meaning to ask you, Aurelia. What do you like to do in your free time?"
"Well, Your Majesty, I have always been interested in archery. I was actually thinking of learning it during my free time."
"Archery, you say? That's quite an interesting hobby. Perhaps we can arrange for someone to teach you."
"Really, Your Majesty? That would be wonderful!"
"Of course, Aurelia. We must ensure that our staff is well-rounded and fulfilled in their personal pursuits."
"Thank you so much, Your Majesty. I will work hard to excel at it."
"I have no doubt that you will."
After that I said my goobye to the king.
Later that afternoon again I serve the king's meal, while I picked up the empty dishes, the king turned to me, "Aurelia, do you ever feel like you want to leave the palace and see what lies beyond our walls?"
I looked at the king in surprise, not expecting such a question. "Well, Your Majesty, I am but a servant here. I do not have the privilege to go outside the palace walls." The king nodded in understanding. "I know, but if you ever have the chance, would you take it?"
I hesitated for a moment before answering, "If it is within my means, Your Majesty, I would love to see what lies beyond these walls.
The king smiled at me. "Good, then will you come with me tomorrow to buy some supplies for the warriors.
I smiled in response. "Of course, Your Majesty. I would be happy to accompany you."
The king nodded gratefully. "Excellent. We will leave in the morning after breakfast. It will be good to get out of the palace for a little while."
I nodded and then curtsied before taking my leave. while i was walking back to the kitchen, I feeling a sense of excitement for the upcoming trip.
We travel Early in the morning the next day, and we have three guard companion.
As we rode out of the palace gates, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. This was the first time I had ever left the palace, and I was honored to be accompanying the king on his errand. The three guards rode alongside with us, their eyes scanning the surrounding area for any potentials threats.
The king led us towards the nearest City, where we would be able to buy supplies for the warriors. Along the way, we passed through lush forests and open fields, and I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the kingdom.
As we traveled further into the City, the noise and activity of the marketplace grew louder. Merchants shouted out their wares, customers haggled over prices, and the smells of cooking food wafted through the air.
We arrive in the city of sodabia, 'Sodobia was a bustling city with a mix of different cultures and species. The streets were lined with vendors selling their wares, and the air was filled with the sound of people bargaining and chatting. The buildings were made of a mixture of stone, wood, and clay, with intricate carvings and colorful murals adorning the walls.
As we walked through the city, I couldn't help but notice the diverse population of Sodabia. She saw humans, wolves, and various mixed species coexisting peacefully, and it warmed my heart.
The king explained that Sodabia was a unique city where all were welcome, regardless of their race or background. we continued our walk, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city.
As we walked through the city, the king seemed to blend in seamlessly with the crowd. He wore simple clothing and walked with a relaxed gait, as if he were just another commoner going about his business.
his demeanor and marveled at how he could be so humble despite his status as the king. She felt grateful for the opportunity to accompany him and learn from him.
I was particularly fascinated by the marketplace, where vendors sold all sorts of goods, from fresh produce to intricate handicrafts. The king noticed my interest and suggested we stop and browse the stalls.
we passed by stalls selling fresh produce, meats, and baked goods. There were also shops selling handmade crafts, jewelry, and clothing.
But what caught our attention were the stores selling armor and weaponry, the king carefully examined the swords and shields.
"This is fine craftsmanship," the king said, running his fingers over the smooth metal of a sword. "I will take three of these for our warriors."
The blacksmith smiled and nodded, wrapping the swords in cloth before handing them to the king. As they continued their walk, they stopped at a leatherworker's stall, where Aurelia helped the king select sturdy leather armor for the warriors.
The leatherworker welcomed them warmly and displayed various types of armor, ranging from basic to intricate designs. The king inspected the armor closely, checking for durability and comfort. Aurelia assisted him by holding up pieces of armor against the light and giving her opinion on the designs.
After much deliberation, the king settled on a set of rugged leather armor for the warriors, designed to withstand even the toughest battles. The leatherworker carefully fitted the armor to each warrior, ensuring a perfect fit for maximum protection.
Aurelia watched in amazement as the leatherworker worked his craft with skill and precision, shaping and stitching the leather into shape. She couldn't help but admire the attention to detail that went into creating each piece of armor.
Once the armor was fitted and paid for, the group moved on to other stalls, selecting weapons, provisions, and other necessary items for the warriors' upcoming battles. Aurelia felt proud to be a part of the king's mission to protect his kingdom, and she knew that the warriors would be well-equipped for whatever
As they walked through the marketplace, Aurelia admired the vibrant colors and intricate designs of the goods on display. She even bought a few souvenirs to bring back to the palace.
The king led Aurelia to a shop that sold clothes. The shop was bustling with activity, and the sound of clanging metal filled the air. The king spoke with the shopkeeper, who led them to a section of the shop that displayed various types of clothing for warriors.
I was amazed at the variety of clothing available. She saw suits of armor made from shiny steel, leather armor reinforced with metal plates, and chainmail armor made from interlocking metal rings. The king carefully inspected each piece, ensuring that they were of the highest quality and would offer the best protection to his warriors.
After selecting several pieces of armor and clothing, the king paid the shopkeeper and they left the shop. Aurelia couldn't help but feel impressed by the king's dedication to the safety and well-being of his warriors.
As Aurelia and the king sat down to eat in the small restaurant, the king was approached by a well-dressed man who appeared to be of high rank. The man bowed respectfully and exchanged a few words with the king,
"It seems that the vampires have been attacking some town near the border more frequently, and with a greater force," the king explained. "We need to be prepared for a full-scale attack. I must return to the palace immediately and start making plans."
"Your Majesty, it is an honor to meet you. I bring news from the neighboring kingdom of Arathia. The king has been growing increasingly hostile towards our kingdom and has even been sending scouts across our borders."
"Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We must take action to ensure the safety of our kingdom and its people."
"I agree, Your Majesty. We have already sent a team of our best scouts to gather more information and assess the threat level. I have also been instructed to seek your assistance in forming a defensive alliance between our two kingdoms.
"I understand the urgency of the situation. I will send my most trusted advisor to discuss the matter further with you and your council. We must stand together to protect our lands and our people."
Man: "Thank you, Your Majesty. Your support is greatly appreciated. We will do whatever it takes to defend our kingdoms and maintain peace in our lands."
King: "Excellent. Let us work together to secure a brighter future for our people."
the man took his leave and the king turned to Aurelia.
After they finished their meal, they made their way back to the palace, the king discussed his plans with Aurelia and the guards. They would need to mobilize the army and fortify the borders, as well as strategize for potential battles with the vampire army.
when the arrive the king was welcome by some council they have something important to discuss with him.
I said my goodbye to the king and continue my walk to my room to rest.
