Ashley got to Owen's Hall with the help of a few people she had seen the other night talking in a circle. They seemed friendly, but she was definitely not staying around to find out, but somehow they kept popping up to offer help until she got to the building and opened the door. "About time." Willow said excitedly, sitting on Jaden's lap while he sat on the floor. "How... You know what, nevermind." Ashley said, looking completely exhausted. "You don't look so well Ash. Are you okay?" Willow asked, as Ashley just smiled and nodded. Something she got really used to doing instead of having people fuss over her. "Maybe you just need to eat." Jaden said a bit coldly as Willow elbowed him "He means, we are hungry. Maybe it will help if you eat too." Willow spoke, giving Jaden a death glare. "I'm-I'm not starving." Ashley lied, she didn't eat at all yesterday and had yet to eat today, and it was already about noon. "Well, you can still get something and if you don't like it one of us will eat it." Willow said getting up and lacing her arm with Ashley as they began to walk away. As Jaden took a deep breath, smelling a dark scent came from Ashley. He growled softly, but the girls were too far away to hear it as he mindlinked Brayden "We have an issue."

The girls went into the Café and Ashley looked around. "Wow, this is huge." She admitted as Willow smiled, "Yes, and they have all different kinds of food, they have everything you could want." Willow said, already walking in a line. Ashley followed quietly and went to reach in her bag for her wallet. "Oh no, we don't pay." She said smiling as Ashley looked very confused. "Then how do they get the money to feed everyone." She said as the worker smiled "Hello L--Lovely lady." The short heavy set warm women said, her eyes beaming with joy as she looked at the two girls. "Hi." Ashley said as Willow once again smiled. "Hey momma T" Ashley looked confused as the women spoke "You must be the young lady that just moved into the apartment." The short women stated as Ashley nodded "Well dear, I'm momma T. No one I know or care never pays to be here. So as soon as I know your name, neither will you." Momma T said, smiling,"Ashley". She said, almost whispering like she was scared the name would cause a scene. Momma T smiled once more. " Ashley what dear". The women pushed "Ashley Marie Lockheart". She said quickly as everyone stopped what they were doing and froze, it was so silent a pen could be heard dropping.

"Old dog? Is that how you speak to your father, let alone alpha!" Frank growled back. "Yes, when he is being stupid I do." Brayden said, stepping up into his father's face. "She is my mate. She is your soon-to-be Luna. You will learn your place." Brayden's eyes became black with golden rims. "She is nothing to me, and she's going to get you killed! Mate or not? REJECT her before something bad happens!" Frank snapped his wolf, also taking charge with his eyes going lightening blue. "Like what, us falling in love? Us running the pack the way it should be with a Luna! Us having a family!" Brayden was beyond talking to his father until he got a mindlink "Alpha, we need you in the Café" Adolphus was talking, which was Jaden's wolf. That was never a good sign when the wolf reached out. It meant there was a major issue going on. Brayden didn't want to back down from his father, but he knew he needed to get to his mate who was also in the Café. "I'm on the way" Brayden mindlinked back to his beta and began to walk away. "Don't do this son, you need to listen to me. This will make or break the pack. They may never trust you." Frank said quickly as Brayden stepped even closer. The father and son were face to face: "Stay. The. Hell. Away. From. Us." Brayden said as he took off running to the Café.

Brayden finally gets to the Café in a few minutes as he used his werewolf speed to run. No one had moved, not even Momma T who looked like she was on the verge of tears. "Did I do something wrong?" Ashley asked Willow, who just brushed her away and stepped away. "Please don't" Willow said before walking to Jaden, who looked like he wanted to kill Ashley where she stood. Brayden pushed open the Cafe doors and saw everyone staring as Ashley turned. "Momma T are you okay?" She asked as the lady snapped out of it. "Oh my dear child. Sorry about that" Momma T stated, but it was more sour now. "What can I get you, the prices are listed above." She said, pointing. Brayden walked over and touching Ashley's shoulder. "What's going on, what happened?" He asked as Momma T spoke first "Your friend here was just telling me her name, and well. Her family is known for harming people" She said as Ashley looked angry "What we have never hurt anyone. I just moved back here. I would never. My family would never." Ashley said as Momma T spoke once more. "Lockheart" is all she said as Brayden's head snapped to Ashley, who looked angry and confused. "I don't understand, yes that's my last name. Why is it so b--" she was cut off by Brayden "Don't you speak!" He yelled as Ashley jumped back, dropping her books. "You're a Lockheart!" He yelled as she fought back tears. "Yes, why are you yelling at me." Before Ashley knew it Brayden had her throat in his hand "I said don't speak, hell can you not follow a simple order" Ashley tried pulling his hand away by scratching his arm, but it made him hold tighter "This is our mate. Stop!" Malice said calmly "She doesn't know why you're doing this, have you lost your mind! Look at her eyes, those eyes wouldn't lie to us. Yes I know the name very well, but it wasn't her." Malice began to growl now. "It's her family that killed my mom, I promised revenge, I will have it." He said to Malice and blocked him out. Ashley finally looked into Brayden's eyes and saw they were black. She sucked in air, kneeing him in his groin and running out the café. She left the books behind as she took several big breaths. If he was what she thought he was, he could catch her but she had to try to get away. She was running and looking behind her as she slammed into someone and almost fell, but was caught. "Ms. Ashley" She knew that voice. She looked seeing Mr. Hanks standing over her holding her arm so she didn't fall. "Are you okay?" He asked as she just nodded "Yes I-I have to go. My apol--" He stopped her "Oh well I need to speak with you." He said quickly as she looked back hearing feet pounding behind her as they got closer. "Please I really need to go." She said once more as he laughed "They aren't going to do anything. I'm here" He said seeing the crowd of werewolves staring at them as Ashley looked even more terrified. "Follow me" He said, pulling Ashley to where she was running from.

"Why does that blood sucker want our mate!" Malice forced himself to the front as a low growl escaped Brayden's lips. "Really you are going to protect your mother's killer?" Jaden said quickly "My parent's killer." Jaden added quickly
