“Excuse me, miss? Who do you think you are to speak like this to my best friend?”
Emily appeared out of nowhere and stood by the side of Mayra, who seemed scared of the sudden outburst of that girl. She stood there motionlessly.
“Liam, why are you quiet? See how rudely this girl is talking to me. please say something.” The girl looks at Liam in a coquettish way but said in a sad tone.
Liam lifted his head and looked in the direction of Mayra but, Emily came in front of Mayra and covered more than half of Mayra's face.
“Mayra, are you okay? No need to be afraid of these short-minded people. Let’s go from here!”
Emily grabs Mayra’s right hand and turns to leave.
“Stop right there! Where do you think you are going? I haven’t finished yet, don’t think of leaving before apologizing.”
“Why should we apologize? And for what exactly? Could you care to explain?”
The girl was seething with rage after hearing Emily’s response. She was so annoyed with Emily's attitude.
“You guys need to apologize for bumping into us and almost make me tripped down. And you for speaking so rudely to me. Apologize now, then I will let you leave. You don’t want to mess with me.”
“Apologize! In your dreams, do whatever you want to, we are not scared of you.” Emily glared at them. Then turns to Mayra. “Come on, Mayra, let’s leave!”
The girl was left speechless! She looked at Liam, who stood there silently the entire time.
