After 36 years, Mina was a 24-year-old colorblind girl who had been searching for a job since 2022. She came from a poor family and had a sister who was still studying. She needed to support them financially, but finding work was hard. One rainy day, she forgot her umbrella and got soaked. A kind old lady named Zhin offered her an umbrella and invited her to her small store.
“Hello, dear. You look like you need some shelter from this rain. Come, come, I have a spare umbrella for you.” Zhin said with a warm smile.
“Thank you so much, ma’am. You are very kind.” Mina said gratefully.
“Don’t mention it, dear. I’m Zhin, by the way. I sell handmade crafts on the street. What’s your name?” Zhin asked.
“I’m Mina. I’m looking for a job, but it’s not easy these days,” Mina said.
“I know how you feel, dear. I’ve been through hard times myself. But don’t lose hope, things will get better.” Zhin said.
“Thank you for your encouragement, ma’am. You are very sweet.” Mina said.
“Please, call me Zhin. And you are very welcome, dear. Do you want to see some of my crafts? They are all made by me with love and care.” Zhin said.
“Sure, I’d love to see them. They look very beautiful and unique,” Mina said.
Zhin showed Mina her crafts, which included dolls, jewelry, paintings, and more. Mina admired them and complimented Zhin on her skills and creativity. Zhin told Mina stories behind each craft and how they reflected her life experiences and emotions. Mina listened attentively and felt a connection with Zhin. She also shared some of her own stories and dreams with Zhin. They laughed and cried together, and felt like they had known each other for a long time.
Zhin and Mina became friends, and Mina started working part-time with her, selling magazines and crafts. She always brought food for Zhin, and they talked about their lives every day.
One day, a black car passed by their stall, and Mina said that she wanted to drive a car like that someday. She then asked Zhin about her past, but Zhin avoided the question. Mina noticed a red string bracelet on Zhin’s wrist and asked her who had given it to her. Zhin said that it was from her love, who died too soon.
Zhin broke down in tears and clutched the bracelet to her chest. She remembered the red string that had tied her to her love, who had left her too soon. She felt a surge of pain and longing, mixed with gratitude and hope. She looked at Mina and saw a reflection of herself, a young girl with dreams and struggles. She decided to give her the bracelet, as a symbol of their friendship and a wish for her happiness.
“Zhin, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to make you cry. You don’t have to give me this bracelet. It’s too precious for me to accept.” Mina said, feeling guilty and touched.
“No, dear. I want you to have it. You are like a daughter to me, and I want you to be happy. You have a bright future ahead of you, and I hope that this bracelet will help you find your true love. Maybe the person is waiting for you somewhere, just like mine was ” Zhin said, smiling through her tears.
“Zhin, thank you so much. You are like a mother to me, and I love you. You have given me so much, and I don’t know how to repay you." mina said
She felt like she knew Zhin from somewhere else, from another time. She felt like she had lost something important, something that was part of her soul. She looked into Zhin’s eyes and saw a flash of color for the first time in her life. She apologized for asking that and left immediately, but tears formed in her eyes for no reason, as if her body remembered something from the past.
On the other hand, Sam was the CEO of a successful software company. She was smart, confident, and ambitious. She had everything she wanted in life, except for one thing: love.
She had never been in a serious relationship, and she didn’t have time for dating. She was too busy running her business and dealing with the stress and pressure of being a leader. She didn’t think she needed anyone else in her life until she met Mina.
Mina was a new employee in Sam’s company. She was a graphic designer who had a passion for creating beautiful and colorful images. She was also colorblind, which made her job more challenging, but also more rewarding. She had special software that helped her see the colors on her screen, but she still had to rely on her intuition and creativity to make her designs.
Mina was looking for a job, but she had no luck. She had applied to many companies, but none of them hired her. She felt discouraged and hopeless. She wondered if she would ever find a place where she could use her skills and talents.
One day, as she was walking on the street, she saw a paper attached to a wall by a kid. It was an advertisement for a graphic designer position in a software company. It said that they needed someone who could create logos, flyers, and brochures for their products. It also said that they offered a good salary, benefits, and flexible hours.
Mina felt curious and hopeful. She thought that this could be her chance to get a job. She took the paper with her and decided to apply for the position.
She went to the software company’s address and entered the building. She asked the receptionist where she could find the person who posted the advertisement. The receptionist looked at her paper and smiled.
“Oh, you’re here for the graphic designer job? That’s great! You’re the first one to apply. The person who posted the ad is Sam. She’s our CEO. She’s in her office right now. You can go ahead and meet her.” The receptionist said.
“Thank you,” Mina said.
She followed the directions to Sam’s office and knocked on the door.
“Come in.” A voice said.
Mina opened the door and saw Sam sitting at her desk. She was wearing a suit and skirt and looked very professional and beautiful. She had short blonde hair, green eyes, and a charming smile.
She looked up from her papers and saw Mina standing at the door. She felt her heart skip a beat. She couldn’t believe that she was there. She felt like she knew her from somewhere else, from another time. She felt a strong attraction and curiosity towards her.
She smiled and invited her in. “Hi, I’m Sam. I’m the CEO of this company. I posted the ad for the graphic designer job. You must be here to apply.”
Mina nodded and walked into the office. She felt nervous and flustered and didn’t know what to say.
“Hi… I’m Mina. I saw your ad on the street, and I thought I would give it a try.” She said.
Sam gestured for her to sit down, and took the paper from her hand. She looked at it and saw that it was a simple flyer that she had made with a child’s help. She used a crayon to draw a logo and wrote the details with a marker. She felt amused and impressed by Mina’s creativity.
“This is very interesting. Did you do this yourself?” Sam asked.
Mina felt embarrassed and tried to explain. “Well… not exactly. I mean, I did design it, but I had some help from a kid. He was the one who put it on the wall. He said he wanted to help me find a job.”
Sam laughed and found Mina’s story adorable. She liked her honesty and innocence.
“That’s very sweet of him. And of you. You have a good heart.” Sam said.
“Thank you… You’re very kind,” Mina said.
Sam felt a spark in her chest and wondered if Mina felt it too. She wanted to keep talking to her and get to know her better.
“So, tell me about yourself. How long have you been a graphic designer? What are your skills and qualifications?” Sam asked.
Mina told Sam about her background, her education, and her experience. She showed Sam her portfolio, which contained some of her best designs. She also told Sam about her condition, and how she managed to create such beautiful images despite being colorblind.
Sam listened attentively and was amazed by Mina’s story. She realized that Mina was not only talented but also brave and resilient. She admired her for overcoming many challenges and obstacles in her life.
She also noticed how Mina’s eyes lit up when she talked about her passion for graphic design. She saw how Mina expressed herself through her art, and how she conveyed emotions and messages through her images.
She felt a connection with Mina, and realized that they had something in common: they both used their creativity and intuition to solve problems and achieve their goals.
She also felt something else: attraction.
She felt drawn to Mina and wanted to be closer to her.
She decided to hire her on the spot.
“Mina, I have to say that I’m very impressed by you. You have a lot of potential, and I think you would be a great asset to our company. I would like to offer you the job,” Sam said.
Mina was shocked and overjoyed. She couldn’t believe that Sam was offering her the job. She thought it was too good to be true.
“Really? Are you serious?” Mina asked incredulously.
“Yes, I’m serious,” Sam said sincerely.
“Wow… Thank you… Thank you so much.” Mina said gratefully.
“You’re welcome. You deserve it.” Sam said warmly.
She got up from her desk and walked towards Mina. She extended her hand and said:
“Welcome to the team.”
Mina got up from her seat and took Sam’s hand. She felt a jolt of electricity run through her body, as their fingers touched.
They both felt a strange sensation in their chests. They felt their hearts pounding faster, and their palms sweating. They felt a flash of recognition and a surge of emotion. They felt like they had met before, in another life. They felt like they had a connection that transcended time and space.
Sam looked into Mina’s eyes and saw a familiar spark. She felt curiosity and a longing. She wondered if Mina felt the same way. She asked her:
“Do I know you from somewhere? Have we met before?”
Mina looked into Sam’s eyes and saw a familiar glow. She felt confusion and wonder. She wondered if Sam was serious. She answered her:
“No, I don’t think so. This is the first time we have meet.”
They both smiled awkwardly and let go of each other’s hand. They felt a pang of disappointment and regret. They wished they could hold on longer, but they knew they had to act professionally.
She led Mina to their work office, which was spacious and elegant, with a large desk, a comfortable couch, a bookshelf, and a window overlooking the city. Sam invited Mina to sit on the couch and offered her some water or coffee. Mina accepted some water and thanked Sam for her hospitality.
Sam sat on the couch opposite Mina and opened her laptop. She said:
“So, Mina, You have a very unique style and vision. You can create stunning designs that capture the essence of the message and the audience,” Sam said.
“Thank you again, Sam. That means a lot coming from you.” Mina said.
Sam smiled and said:
“Well, thank you for saying that. I appreciate your compliment.”
They both blushed slightly and looked away.
