upon entering danes office to surprise him I notice my father and mother here, what in the actual hell apparently I'm invisible so I hide behind a potted plant next to the door, I know...I know so cliché right so I use my wolf hearing to listen in to thier conversation "alpha dane what is the holdup with my daughter, we took her back when we did to form alliances with whomever she was mated to once you got an heir a treaty was supposed to be signed!". "Listen she is making things extremely difficult, she has not even let me mark her yet and as we all know unconsentual marking is highly frowned upon even for an alpha!", "Look I did not feed my daughter some bull crap about being in danger and go get her just to be screwed over by her mate!, I don't care what you do to her have her produce an heir and fulfill our deal!" and just like that with a huff my father and mother left, I came out from my hiding place tears streaming down my face and decided to make my presence known "well dane I just heard everything so I'm glad they showed up before I was ready to ask you to mark me!" I yelled and burst out the door before he could even speak running down to the kitchen still crying I laid my head on the kitchen island and cried myself to sleep not wanting to face matt and Mike.

dane's p.o.v.

I had just finished a conversation with morgana's father and mother when suddenly she appeared out of no where looking sexy as hell except for the years on her face why is she crying oh no I hope she didn't hear "oh but she did you asswipe" I heard lant growl in my head "MY NAME IS LANTREAS!!!" now he is full on roaring I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard morgana yell "well dane I just heard everything so I'm glad they showed up before I was ready to ask you to mark me!" oh no no she has the wrong idea before I can say anything she runs out bawling oh moon goddess why? " because your an i***t" lantreas (note the mocking tone) growled in my head "hey dude look I made that deal before when I didn't want her I'm sorry ok?!", "you shouldve never made a deal like that involving our mate in the first place!, now I can't even reach asana she thinks I had to do with this as well!" aww poor him I've got actual problems so I blocked him out and proceed my search for a beta since I never took the time to find one I'm going through files upon files until I come across a name jack dickman I sit and have a good laugh for about 10 minutes of the thought of hearing people bow to beta dickman, then I get back to my serious work I find another file alonzo dunmire I decide to mind link him although I know it's late "alonzo!" I wait only a minute till I hear a reply "yes alpha", "I want to see you in my office in the morning understood mr. dunmire?", "yes alpha" and I cut the mindlink, going into the kitchen for a glass of warm cocoa to help me sleep (yeah, yeah poke your fun the big bad alpha wolf likes cocoa) I notice my mate asleep at the kitchen island so I carefully pick her up noting her red puffy face and carry her into her room tucking her in the placing a gentle kiss on her forehead "goodnight love" I hear her mutter something In her sleep I think it was asshole shrugging that off I go drink my cocoa close my eyes and lay down to bed.
