22 I took the test out of my bag. I didn’t typically share the results with students before I gave them to the entire class, but I knew Kevin needed to see his test. “We need to talk about the test you took on Tuesday. I graded most of them and will be reviewing them in class on Monday, but I wanted to go over a few things with you today.” Kevin nodded. He slumped down in his seat. He avoided my gaze and crossed his arms. I dropped the test on the desk in front of him, the eighty-nine big and bold and circled. “No way,” Kevin breathed.
