I slowly opened my eyes, it was blur for a second. I shook my head and wiped my eyes to see clearly. I looked at my surrounding in confusion. I looked down at the bed that I was on and caressed the bedspread looking around.
What am I doing here?
Then suddenly yesterday’s events came to my mind. I was kidnapped.
Then why am I here?
Nothing makes sense.
I got up slowly, my legs felt like jelly. I carefully stepped on my feet and stood up.
I walked out of the door and looked around to see a dark figure sitting on the couch. I moved slowly towards the couch and spoke up.
“Arjun”
My throat felt parched as I spoke, I need some water.
He turned around and looked at me with a cold glint in his eyes. He stood up and walked towards me.
“Do you need water?” came his calm voice.
I nodded.
