Fourteen: River
We arrive at the town just outside of the Silver Waterfalls Pack. I pull into a parking spot at the gas station. “Last stop before we enter the packlands.” I say getting out of the truck. I walk around the building until I find the bathroom. It's a very dingy bathroom turning I lock the door and just about fall onto the nasty sink. I look into the mirror and just feel the pain radiating through my whole body. It started with my heart and worked its way outward. That was when I noticed something strange. I pull the neck of my shirt away and see that Molly’s mating mark is gone. I feel the tears running down my face. Looking away from the mirror I don’t want to see the proof that she has fully rejected me. The realization that I had f****d up again washes over me. I’
