Chapter IV   It’s been days since Lamon disappeared. Arayan, Quamran and Magnus travelled the eastern part of Asca to find him, yet, there’s still no hints for his whereabouts, not even to the river he went to or anywhere nearby it. The forest of Asca is too big that will take months of searching considering their wagon’s walking capacity. Its massive body and dumpy legs makes the trip longer for them. Besides, if nothing wrong happened to her brother, he would’ve gone back to them and they wouldn’t have to wait that whole day for his return. Although there is no question of Lamon’s ability to protect himself from any danger, still, her thoughts are giving her Dilemma concerning the situation and the sudden arrival of an unanticipated companion— that is a weird fellow who insisted on joining them despite of all the snubs Arayan has been throwing at him, since she herself is not as intimidating as Quamran’s serious face. “Please forgive me for tagg’en along but, I really wanna see a Gathom” Said Magnus. Arayan took a glance over him  “You are referring to my father right? Then what am I to you?” Arayan said “well, you don’t look like one. How’d I know you’re not adapted? You’re just a plain young ahhh what do you call that again? Ashohakay?” Magnus spoke scornfully.  He avoided her eyes when he noticed Arayan’s glare at him. Though she couldn’t understand why she would feel insulted, since she has no Idea what he is talking about. She only thought Gathoms are another group of people who are tad stronger than Li-gayun tribe. It is inquiring that the crazy stranger like Magnus would be so curious and fascinated over these people “you mean Ashalahay” Arayan corrected “oh yes! My bad, your looks confuses me sorry, you look  like a boy” her solid broad arms and tall figure is too unusual for a woman. She reckoned it is only natural since their father was said to be gigantic “So?” Arayan look away, even with her tomboy personality, she easily gets offended when she is being called a boy “he wouldn’t say that” she whispered to herself. Magnus was staring at her—suddenly became serious—His idea of who she is  referring to confirmed through the transparent emotions she yields in uttering those words “Arayan huh” Arayan heard Magnus calling her and heed towards him, but Magnus only smiled at her and teased her with his eyebrows “You’re crazy or what?” The tree reached the outside frontiers of Shuixron before Qionar. Outside the forest is a long river known as the sacred river or ‘Khalin’. The river divides Shuixron from Qionar. The gracious streaming water wouldn’t be so hard to cross to since its water ground is a solid soil   “So? Qionar huh. Well, if I have a Gathom in my hand, it is be the best place to go” said Magnus, justifying the possibility of the circumstances.   Qionar is the trading capital of most kingdoms. Its structures are designed with colorful domed towers that is partly visible from where they were standing. But also, s*****y is quite a business in Qionar. And for a Gathom like Lamon—that was regarded as a dying race—will rate a tons of tarson for bargain. Tarson is the currency of Shuixron, a tarson is equal to a fifty tars of Qionar. Fifty tars can buy a single slave for a proprietor, ten tarson, on the other hand, is equal to a bar of gold. “So what you are saying our Markham is here?” said Arayan “well, there’s a big possibility” said Magnus.      While the group is on the mission of finding the Markham of the Ligayun tribe within the kingdom that is known as a trading capital, in the middle lands of the eastern boundaries of Qionar, above the high mountains is an abandoned kingdom whose prosperity is still evident despite of its ruined buildings and empty streets. The Elf on his Hippogriff walk pass these buildings, bearing the same hollow expression “see this Arman? The king you worship did this” said the elf to the unconscious body hanging on his hippogriff without expecting any respond. He then hauled the hippogriff to fly back to the air  “Just wait Arman, you are about to see her” The hippogriff flew across the mountains, to discover a magnificent view of a smaller Castle.  From the elegant streams and impressive waterfalls, to the view of the sunlight that blesses the glorious mountains that covers a white structure. Beneath the castle are long trees and colorful gem-rocks—a gift of nature to embellish the better view of the lonely river behind the woods. A soundless river that flows from the waterfall near the white castle. This wondrous place is an Elven territory called ‘Adelfa’. A place where humans are f*******n. It is their sacred place, but now being use as their Queen’s residential ground.
