“Will you two leave Bella alone.” Faiths voice sounded from above me and I let my fave turn to her in surprise. I hadn’t heard her come out of the house. For a second I was embarrassed that she had seen me sat on the floor with a stray dog on my lap but it was short lived as said stray dog licked my eyeball.
“Ewww.” I pushed his with all my might and finally he moved. His tail no longer wagging happily. He slouched away. “No eyeball licking.” Grumbling I climbed to my feet. “Sorry about that.” Brushing my hands down my denim clad thighs I gave her a shy smile. I still wasn’t sure about Faith. Sure she had been lovely to me but there was something otherworldly about her. Like she had seen things I couldn’t even imagine.
