20. Evil Plans Miles away, back in the Big Apple, Martina tried to make ends meet when her mobile rang. She looked at the display but didn't recognize the number. “ Hello?” her sweet voice echoed in the receiver. “ Hello, Martina.” She was welcomed by a robotic voice. “ Who's this?” she demanded to know. “ It's a friend you'll grow to like very much for what I'm about to propose to you.” She was puzzled. She couldn't recognize the voice, and she wasn't sure it was safe speaking to a stranger, a very confident one above all, “I'm not interested. Leave me alone and forget my number.” “ So you're saying that you're happy with your divorce negotiations? You like the zero euros you were handed?” How does this person know so much about me? She awed internally. It sent goosebumps
