22. The Downfall
Eleina was in the kitchen, cooking homemade pizza. Humming to the music, Eleina worked hard to put the first pizza in the oven before Craig arrived. It was almost seven, so he was supposedly on his way home.
It had already been two weeks since they returned from their holiday. The couple has been living blissfully. The family of three was living a harmonious life together. Craig was back to his usual self, and Eleina couldn't be happier to return to her man.
The slamming of her apartment's door brought her out of her reverie.
“ Eleina!” Craig angrily called from the living area. His big footsteps were getting closer. Eleina turned around just in time to see him appear at the kitchen door.
