31. Confrontation
Back in Malta, a busy Eleina was managing staff to prepare the venue for an engagement party.
“ Ms. Vella, there’s a man at the bar. He said you’ll be happy to see him.”
“ Did he say his name? I wasn’t expecting anyone!”
The waitress shook her head in a negative response and left.
Eleina had no other option than to see who was waiting for her. Walking towards the bar, she saw a male figure but didn’t really recognize the person from his back.
Feeling as if someone was watching him, he turned sideways and saw Eleina a few meters away from where he was seated.
“ Eleina!” he happily sang.
“ Kenneth? What are you doing here in Malta?”
“ What can possibly bring me here if not you? I wanted to see you…I missed you.”
