Chapter ThirteenShe falls into a deep, dreamless sleep that feels like it has gone on for several days, but upon waking, she's surprised to realize it has only lasted six hours. She startles a little when she finds Tiberius in the chair opposite her bed, poised and watchful and staring straight at her with eyes that are gleaming faintly crimson in the light. "I apologize.
