At her brief shake, he grins.
"Come on, let me buy you lunch and you can tell me about yourself. I've never met a Prey Shifter before. You guys are like, unicorns to me," he says.
She doesn't appreciate being treated like a zoo attraction, but she is in the man's- well, his friend's - car and he's driving, so she knows better than to antagonize the man. "I'm not sure that's the best idea. I thought I would come earlier so I can get ready," she demurs.
