Lila's POV
“What does that mean?” My gaze drifting from Jonathan to Judith. When they didn’t respond I turned to Lauren. It was as though she read my mind, she smiled at me and walked out of the room before I could find my voice.
“Why did you hide the fact that you were a Genna??” Dominic demanded. He stared at Judith with displeasure.
“There must be a good reason for this. Let's give her a chance to explain.” Jonathan interceded. I knew there was something between them, why else would he be so defensive?
“It wasn't my intention to hide it, but it’s a rule the Gennas abide by.” She sighed in defeat.
“We are never to reveal the identity of the elemental, regardless of the situation. You found out as anyway.’’ She stood up and walked over to the window, staring straight into the sky.
