Part- 22 Back to Hospital

Ki Sudarsana did the same thing, he put his fingers together right in the veins of Fareda. "It seems that the whip has bruised her heart and lungs, broken ribs in her spine, one of the nervous systems in the cerebellum is also blocked with frozen blood," said Ki Sudarsana at length. He took a deep breath and then continued his sentence, "if she is still able to walk, it is because of her extraordinary spirit." Again Ki Sudarsana took a deep breath and said, "we should take her to the hospital, because she also lost a lot of blood so it slowed her heart rate." Before Ki Sudarsana finished his sentence, Wisanggeni had grabbed the car keys which were located close to the sitting phone and immediately carried Fareda's body. He immediately ran to the garage. Ki Sudarsana was stunned for a moment, but in the end he followed behind Wisanggeni. “Give me your car keys! Let me drive." said Ki Sudarsana to Wisanggeni. Wisanggeni did not answer but motioned for Ki Sudarsana to take the key from his hand because Wisanggeni could not hold it out. Ki Sudarsana grabbed the keys and ran into the car and sat behind the wheel. Ten minutes later the car had left the garage, speeding through a residential area onto the main road. Meanwhile, Nina and Saka watched the car move away. The two of them were in Magdalene's arms. Grace was also seen there. "We are going to the hospital too, dear, but we will prepare supplies and bring a change of clothes for Mbak Ida," Magdalene whispered to her sons and daughters. They both nodded slowly. Everyone watched Wisanggeni's car until it was out of sight. After that they rushed into the house. The car carrying Wisanggeni, Fareda and Ki Sudarsana entered the hospital courtyard right in front of the entrance. Wisanggeni came out carrying Fareda, he ran into the hospital and was greeted by several nurses. Fareda's body was immediately placed on a bed which was immediately prepared by paramedics. While Wisanggeni was busy with administration, Fareda was immediately taken to the handling room. A nurse swiftly cut his clothes and began to clean the wounds. Another medic checked her blood pressure and started putting on an IV. The doctor also stood there watching intently and then began to check her heartbeat, eyes, throat and body parts that were injured. The doctor froze for a moment and his face bent. He seemed to be deep in thought. The doctor asked for a scan of the head and whole body as well as blood tests. The doctor asked for it to be done that same night because Fareda's condition was very pathetic. Before that the doctor stitched up several body parts. There are several parts of the body that must be stitched because the wound is too deep. Almost the whole body was injured and bleeding. That's why the doctor stitched it up. After everything was done, Fareda was moved to the treatment room. The doctor met Wisanggeni and Ki Sudarsana, who had been waiting anxiously. The doctor sighed heavily, his face uncomfortable to look at. "What else happened to her?" asked the doctor curtly. He didn't want to mess around anymore. He is the same doctor who treated Fareda before when she was found by Wisanggeni in the Prohibition Forest last year. Wisanggeni and Ki Sudarsana looked confused and could not answer. In fact, neither of them knew how to explain. "You two can't explain?" The doctor immediately guessed because Wisanggeni and Ki Sudarsana's faces clearly looked confused. Almost at the same time both nodded weakly. Both of them looked exhausted, even Wisanggeni's face was still pale. “Okay, this is just my guess, her heart and lungs are bruised. There are cracks in the ribs of the spine because along the ribs the skin and flesh are blue. I also suspect that there is a blockage in one of the blood vessels in her cerebellum.” The doctor explained at length. Both of them did not seem surprised because it was exactly what Ki Sudarsana said. The doctor seemed to frown at the reaction of the two. "I'm sorry, we don't know what to say. Please do your best, Doctor," said Ki Sudarsana awkwardly. Wisanggeni only replied with a nod. He also looked very awkward. Both are completely wrong. The two of them couldn't possibly tell the truth, but with the pathetic condition of Fareda's, neither of them could make up stories. "Of course, gentlemen, we will wait for the results of x-rays and blood tests to confirm my suspicions. I'll see you as soon as I get results," the doctor replied, a hint of irritation and suspicion in his voice. After that the doctor said goodbye and left the two of them. Before leaving the two doctors ordered Wisanggeni to go to the blood bank for Fareda. It's not too urgent but it would be better if given additional blood to recover faster. Meanwhile, Ki Sudarsana entered the inpatient room belonging to Fareda. Fifteen minutes later Wisanggeni returned and brought the necessary blood and gave it to the nurse on duty. Three hours later as promised, the doctor met Wisanggeni and Ki Sudarsana to bring the results of blood tests and scans. All the suspicions of the doctor and Ki Sudarsana were correct. The doctor explained all the details. Her heart and lungs were bruised, her spinal ribs were fractured and her cerebellum was blocked. One of her nervous systems was blocked by a blood clot. Even though both of them already know but it's still hard. The two of them sat limp and silent, as if their lips were locked. That night the two of them spoke very little. Busy with their own thoughts. They regret a lot, especially their helplessness over what happened to Fareda. Although both of them are spiritually capable people, their hearts are still torn apart. Magdalene, Saka, and Nina also had time to come and bring a change of clothes for Fareda as well as dinner for Wisaggini and Ki Sudarsana. They left the hospital after a long stay. TO BE CONTINUE
