PART-13 The Secret of Fareda's Room

Magdalene and Nina could only stare confusedly at their behavior. There was a hint of relief in their gazes even though grief still dominated the faces of both of them. The heartwarming atmosphere was broken when the doorbell rang. "Let me." Nina immediately ran to the front door without waiting for an answer. She opened the door and Ki Sudarsana was there. Nina smiled faintly and kissed Ki Sudarsana's hand and let him in. When he entered the house, he didn't seem surprised to see the house in disarray, because he had actually seen everything through his inner eye. He wanted to go immediately when Wisanggeni collapsed but was hesitated by Magdalene. Now he has a reason to come because Wisanggeni, his sons and daughters do not come to pray ashar together.

Nina took Ki Sudarsana to Fareda's room, where his father lay. Wisanggeni's face was as pale as a living corpse . Ki Sudarsana greeted Magdalena and her sister, then sat on the edge of the bed and checked Wisanggeni's pulse. His face looked shocked, "Ajian Rawa Rontek," he said.
