Weddings have never been my favorite events, but Katherine's is nice. The smell of the pine forest surrounding us and the wildflowers decorating every surface is a lovely combination. They chose an outdoor venue that is beautiful but is way too cold for this time of year. As a result, everyone is staying in the large tents housing the tables and dance floor, close to the patio heaters.
The food is amazing, of course, and everyone looks fantastic. Katherine and her new husband have spent the better part of the reception tearing up the dance floor. Mother's been so uncomfortable since our little conversation that she is keeping busy with her sisters and grandmother, leaving me to my own devices.
