Chapter 20: VOG vaccine

The next morning Mshapa was meeting his task force meeting for implementation of (VOG) Victim of guilt vaccine. 

He looked all happy because he was on good terms with his wife. 

Purity on the other hand was entirely uneasy because she knew what exactly happened the other day. 

Tole was present who was already a father of twins and this made him very happy. 

Since they began working with Mshapa to date things have really changed. They have faced opposition and felt like giving up at some point but they opted to keep on moving forward instead. 

At the statehouse, Mshapa began the meeting with opening remarks as always. "Thank you very much for coming today. It has been really a great walk so far towards our goals. The eugenics project has really proven important to mankind. Evidence can be seen within us, Sofi and Tole are blessed with very healthy babies and I must say I love this project purely. 

The citizens have embraced it fully and I believe after a decade we would have a generation with the best genetics. On the other hand, we cleared all slums in the country and all refugee camps in the country. I must say it was not an easy process, we faced a lot of opposition from the so-called cartels but we showed them we are the owners and leaders of this country and we cannot be intimidated by selfish individuals. 

I have come to learn that these selfish people live by instilling fear to others and use that fear to control people. When dealing with such people you have to deal with them with such toughness and hardness that they cannot resist. 

Another milestone we achieved was clearing terrorists in our region, imagine we went to their hiding places and dealt with them there, we cleared out all that network. 

Fires in the Amazons and Australia, we played a major role in putting off the fires and reviving those forests back to normal. 

We wiped out coronavirus easily with no sweat.  This was all your great work ladies and gentlemen. 

The world has gained trust in us now. We are here today to see how we shall implement the VOG vaccine, which is a very complex and advanced vaccine, this is the vaccine that will enable us to achieve our PEAP project. 

Let me give Tole and Brian the opportunity to explain to us how it would be implemented."  

The taskforce team had achieved a lot since they started operating. Tole being the head scientist has pushed for great projects that have seen the world heal. 

Today they are going to discuss the VOG vaccine that would bring all their work to success. Tole began by saying, "Once again thank you for this opportunity, thanks team for support in every task we undertake, Lembo, Purity, and Mwakio you have really helped us in this project. 

The goal of the VOG vaccine is to fight corruption, infidelity, and f*********n. Other immoral behavior will be eradicated too using the same vaccine but only after proving that it works on fighting what I have just mentioned. Let me allow my colleague Brian to explain how it was made and how it would work." 

"Thank you, the VOG vaccine operates around guilt, we have not tested it yet because rats do not have guilt. So the only way to test it is on humans, which would not be a problem because the VOG vaccine has no side effects, it is just a combination of hormones in the body. 

When humans commit corruption, infidelity, or f*********n a hormone called cortisol is produced which triggers guilt. The VOG vaccine contains an acce-cortisol hormone that when it mingles with cortisol hormone it reacts. The victim or culprit will experience body rushes, nausea, pains, and even boils and these reactions of these hormones won't stop until the culprits confess. 

That is how the VOG works, it would help us hold accountable all humans all over the world."

Lucia was the first to ask questions, "What will happen when the culprit refuses to confess."

"This would mean the reaction would continue and flesh would start falling down and their internal organs would melt down, this will happen three days after the whatever incident was committed." 

She posed another question again, "How are you planning to test the VOG vaccine?" 

"We are planning to use inmates who claim or denied their accusations and also we would request for innocent volunteers to act as control testers." 

The president also had to ask Tole a question, "How do you think we should implement the VOG vaccine." 

"VOG vaccine is not like any other vaccines in the world because it does not have a negative effect on those who are morally upright. Another thing we can administer this vaccine in many forms either as tablets, liquid, air, or we can put it in water or food. 

We can choose a product that we are very sure everyone eats and put it there it can be either salt, cooking oil, or anything." 

"Do you think this will go well with activists, that we encode the vaccine inside foodstuffs or water," Lembo asked. 

"I think it would be wise to do so because at the end of the day we want a planet with no corruption and with people with good morals. Brian, do you have something to say?" 

"Remember implementation of such a complex vaccine will need several years for testing and monitoring its progress, for example, we have to target a group of  people to test it until we are sure it works successfully so we can unleash it on the whole planet."

"I think, I have an idea where we can test the VoG, we have some boys who are suspected of committing the murder of an old man. I think the public should not be aware of the vaccine until we are sure that it works perfectly." Mshapa contributed. 

"The capability of it being administered in any form is quite exquisite. The administering of it to different groups of people will be seamless and untraceable."

"Thank you for that great project guys may you be blessed abundantly. Does anyone have something to say before we conclude." Mshapa asked.

Lucia whispered something to Mshapa and she looked at everyone in the room, "I had a suggestion as we plan to launch on VOG, can we find a solution to Cancer and HIV, can a solution to these monstrous diseases be found." 

Tole jumped into this immediately and said, "Sure a solution can be found to this disease." 

"I hear these diseases were made in a lab." 

"No, they were not made to the lab but rather brought to the lab. This is what happens, animals have very many vicious viruses but these viruses cannot be transferred to humans easily, it would take 1000 years for an animal virus to mutate and be able to enter into humans. 

What these guys did was they went to animals, extracted the viruses and brought them to the labs, and started playing with them, then the viruses were subjected to different strings and mutated quickly and faster to be able to enter into humans which is quite difficult. But we can reverse all this process though it would be a heavy task to do." 

"If it is something it can be done I suggest we do it as soon as possible." 

"We shall do it, Mr. President, thank you."

The meeting ended and Purity called Flora so that they could meet. Flora decided to meet at her place.

They met and as soon as they saw each other they started laughing. "We must be the evilest women in the world," purity said. 

"Why do you say that we are smart women who are ready to do anything to save our marriage. Anyway, did you sort out that man?" 

"Yes, I did, he was really scared with what he saw, he told me I should not call him again." 

"You should not call him again, but he was very handsome, did he know who I was." 

"No, he never knew, what about your husband did he know what happened." 

"He knows nothing, he is all happy, yesterday I was all over him in bed." 

"I see, that is why he was all glowing today in the meeting, girl you seem to be a badass in bed," they both laugh hitting their hands in the air and flora said, "I nearly lost my title as a first lady, I had to come back to my senses with full energy." 

"That is good, I thought our little secret was out, let us hope the shadow won’t go around talking." 

"The shadow won't talk, I have an idea though, this is for you, Mwakio seems to be a good guy for you, he is calm and secretive" 

"He is a married guy for God's sake, though he always gives me some funny glances sometimes."

"You see you have people around you but you do not want to see them." 

"But having someone in the same office is a bit weird you know and I fear married men." 

"But the wife must be in the village, she is not here in the city, be the city wife." 

"Tell me you are kidding" 

"I am not, and by the way, if it were not for the shadow thing, you would have got me another young blood, I feel tempted to try it again" 

"What is wrong with you? After that incident you are not supposed even to think about such things anymore, actually, it was a terrible idea. I slept really scared. I felt like the shadow would appear again." 

"Sorry for putting you through this my dear friend, I promise we won't do that again" 

"Okay, so what was the shadow talking about yesterday, about your husband having an issue and that they would sort it out, does he have any issues when you are with him" 

"My dear I don't know, when I am with my husband everything is fine, he takes me away so well, I love every bit about it, I think the problem is on his seeds maybe." 

"Maybe, when he faced the previous attack by the government officials his seeds were crushed out, probably." 

Flora’s eyes lit as if discovering something, "that must be it, oh my God how am I going to be pregnant?"

Suddenly, the shadow appears on the walls. "Ladies I see you talk too much about everything. Let me help you when the month of offering sacrifice arrives in two months, your husband will gain back the seeds that he lost when he was killed before, be patient and be a good wife to your husband." the shadow vanishes again and they are left their mouths wide open.

They could not believe this, it could not be happening in this century.
