Chapter 22: Unemployment
The issue of unemployment has taken a toll since the start of the 21st century. Mushapa’s government has a plan in place fighting the injustices and also creating jobs for youths. This task of creating jobs for youth has to be approached in many ways. Pepo, Mwakio, and Lembo are tasked to inspect all government parastatals and sectors and find out why there are no jobs for youths. They are also to find ways of creating jobs for youths. The trio goes for a hunt and they start with the most central institute in the government, (KRA) Kenya Revenue Authority, which deals with the collection of tax. At the main office of KRA, they meet with the head human resource (HR) and the commissioner himself. As Pepo and Lembo had a conversation with them Mwakio was busy going through their payroll
