Later that week it’s time for her to arrive at the place we prepared for the proposal.
“Gonzalez, don’t screw this up”
“Sarge, I got this. Now go” he urges and I leave him to get to my spot.

“Never, she’s safer with me than him anyway” he says pointing to where Face is hidden
“Yeah. That’s what I’m afraid of. Okay move out!” I command and they all move in coordinated fashion and I wait. s**t this better work, she’s going to be pissed
“What the hell?!” I hear her yell
“Get down!” One of the recruits yell and I chuckle
