Later I tell the others about the choice, they’re all quiet but Violet speaks up
“Choose her” she says with tears in her eyes
“Vi, no I can’t lose you” I say taking her hand
“John, sorry Leo, she’s your child. We don’t know whether we’ll find a donor in time. This is life or death. Choose her Leo” she says and the tears run down her face. I look at the others and they all nod in agreement
“We’ll never forget you Tank” Ace says and I can’t fight my own tears anymore
“Maybe we’ll see you again, one day” Mouse says hugging me
“This is not goodbye, it’s see you later” Boxer says and I nod
“Guys I-“ Dean cuts me off
“This is not your time Leo, she needs you more than we do. Go home Leo” he says and I nod hugging him
