The Rejected Alpha's Mate

Chapter 5

The party ended few minutes ago, the alpha just left with his Luna now It was time to face my mate and my back stabbing sister.

I made my way towards them, Nancy thrilling behind me.

Nancy stopped following me making me wonder why, I watched as she smiled happily looking around like she was expecting someone.

"Mate" she whispered smiling the more.

"Mate?" I asked again.

She nodded perceiving the air. The same s**t I portrayed the first day I met my mate.

"Mate" She muttered again looking around. I was still looking around Hoping I could see anyone I felt was suitable to be her mate when I say her already clinging to the most handsome man I have ever seen.

He curly hair, gray eyes. Made him perfect. He hugged her possessively like she was running away.

So this was it. Sadly I never got to experience such cos my mate never showed any affection towards me.

"I'm sorry I showed up late" he apologized staring affectionately at her.

"Its Okey, you look good" Nancy gushed hiding her blushing cheeks on his muscular chest.

It was after some time she remembered I was waiting on her.

She dragged him towards my direction smiling widely. I was happy for her and at the same time sad, now she has to leave with her mate and I will be left all by myself.

"Ana meet my mate Daniel and Daniel meet me bestie Ana" she introduced smiling happily.

"Hi Ana, I'm Daniel, bata to the alpha of the Crystal lake pack, I came in place of the alpha, I guess the moon goddess made him unable to so I could find my mate, I'm happy I came" he told me while stretching out is hands for a shake which I gladly accepted.

"I'm Anastasia but you can call me Ana" I told him.

"Mind if I take my mate along?" He asked, I wasn't happy with the idea but there was nothing i could do.

"Yeah! Why not, but first let me have a word with her" I told him. He reluctantly let go of her hand walking some miles away.

I turned to see the Sad look on Nancy's face. I knew she was wasn't happy to leave me, but its the best thing to do! There's no way I will let her turn down her mate for my sake. I Can't, she's done enough already, its time we go our separate ways.

"I understand but you have to, remember you will always be my only sister, I will be visiting you regularly" I told her to make her calm down.

"Why not go with us? I will ask him to take you along, please don't say no, you know I cant survive a day without you" she pleaded tears streaming down her eyes. The truth is, we have grown to be so fond of each other and for 20 years this would be the first day we will be going our separate ways, I wasn't gonna see her after tonight and its hurt but I Can't hold her back either.

"You don't have to! I have my life to live, I still have a lot of battle to tackle with and I don't plan on running away. I will be fine trust me. Make sure you don't mess up things, be a good wife and a good mother to your kids, don't disappoint me" I said trying not to break down. My heart was so heavy that I couldn't breathe comfortable.

"Why are you telling me all these when you said you will be visiting me often?" She asked crying the more.

"What if I don't get to? Just stay okey for me, trust me I will be fine" I assured hugging her. My tears wetting her shoulder same with her's. After some time I asked her to get going, its already late so they could catch up with her parents before leaving the pack. From here to his pack is quit a long drive. He began taking her out while she continued waving still in tears till she was out of sight. I felt empty, I felt like the Bigger part of me left, my heavy heart made me stumble to the ground as I finally broke down, I couldn't keep it anymore.

"Now let's see how you mess around when your only lovely Friend just left with her mate, so sad she had to leave you behind" I heard my sister say. I was forced to look up and as expected she came with Pascal clinging tightly to him like he would run to me if she lets him out for a moment.

"Please Anabelle, let me be!" I told her getting up to walk away from them but Pascal said something that made me halt on my spot.

"I really Can't imagine what the moon goddess was upto when she mated me to someone as dump as her. I don't blame you I blame the moon goddess for deciding to punish me with a weak wolf like yourself!" He jibbered. I felt shattered and weak, no wonder he called me weak, this was the second time he would be calling me this and u couldn't even do a thing. I could only stand and watch him humilate me, he's already making a scene with his loud voice, half of the people's attention were now on us or rather still on me since I was the one looking pathetic.

"And I blame myself for loving you! If I hadn't fall so hard I wouldn't have been this hurt, like I had an option, falling helplessly wasn't my intention but I'm still the one to be blamed, of all people why my sister?" I questioned.

"Cos she's better than you!" He blurted.

"You will regret this!" I blurted and the next thing I saw was his hands finding it way to my face, before he could slap me i grabbed his hands "dare it and I will make sure you don't get to use it ever again!" I blurted throwing his hands off.
