Two days later Miss Judith took her up to their bedroom at nine in the evening. Felicity was waiting, but Mary Ann must have been told to keep out of the way. Seated on the edge of a bed, wearing only knickers and a bra, was another girl, Natalie, whom Hannah knew only a little.
Hannah had been told to appear before Felicity and Judith in a skirt and blouse but no underwear, not even the black rubber knickers. Felicity pointed to a spot on the floor and told her to stand there.
