Chapter Thirty-Six One evening Hannah was summoned in to see Judith and Felicity. As always on such occasions, she went with a certain amount of trepidation; what had she done wrong? But she was greeted politely, with none of the coldness which Judith displayed when there was a dressing-down to be delivered, and even a punishment. Felicity offered her a glass of wine and told her to take a seat. Judith went into another room and brought out one of their most recent acquisitions, a girl called Fiona.
