Chapter Twenty-Nine
As soon as Judith got back, she reported her success to Felicity.
“Wow,” said Felicity. “The woman must have been repressing this for years. And you’ve found the key to releasing it.”
“I’m still not sure how I did it,” Judith admitted. “But at a certain moment I just had this feeling that a sudden move was necessary. I can’t really explain.”
“What we deal in is so much guided by emotion,” said Felicity, “and so it’s no surprise that much of it works on instinct and gut feeling. And I think if you get people off-guard, surprising things may happen. So what are you going to do next?”
“Now is the time to strike, when she is still collecting herself after the shock. I’m going back the day after tomorrow. I want you to come with me.”
