Chapter 1 ~ The Mission

848 Words
It was just a normal Saturday when Bella was told about her first big mission as a mafia. She was eating dinner with her father when he told her what she had to do, "You must kill the wolfs' new alpha, Felix." Bella willingly agreed as she knew there was an unimaginable punishment if she didn't. She sat eating her steak, wondering how she would kill the most powerful alpha in England. She sat until she had thought up the most cunning and evil plan she could imagine. She would use his pack against him and kill them all, including Felix. As the evening came around, Bella was discussing tactics with her father and gaining weapons she would use against the wolves. Bella elaborately planned every step of her mission and made sure everything was complete before she would set out to complete her dangerous and risky mission the following evening. At six a.m. the following morning, Sunday, Bella awoke after only sleeping for four hours, stressing about her life- threatening mission and making sure even the most minor details were perfected. She dressed and went to the gym, training hard so she could complete the mission flawlessly. It was noon when Bella finished training and she left the gym so she could eat and have the maximum energy for the evening. As Bella was dressing and getting fully equipped for the mission, the nerves she was holding back were released, and she couldn't stop shaking as she thought about all of the different possibilities of failure, somehow unable to think positively. Tears streamed down her face as she thought of how disappointed her father would be if she failed, however these thoughts seemed to motivate her as she stood quickly, wiping her tears and adding the finishing touches to her outfit. Bella left her bedroom and bid goodbye to her father as she walked out of their vast mansion and climbed into her fancy car, her driver driving her away from her home and safety and towards the huge pack of wolves and impending danger. The plan was repeating in her head like a broken record as she was driven towards Felix's house. The drive there was around five hours, which meant that Bella had enough time to research as much as she could about Felix's species, werewolves. There were some interesting things she discovered, like the soulmate bond and the alpha and luna. She also found out that humans can be a werewolf mate, and if they are, they would automatically turn into a wolf and a luna if they're female. Bella didn't worry about this, though, as she knew that there would be no chance of her being a wolf's mate, and especially not the alpha's. She continued with her research and when she had finally finished, she not only felt accomplished, but she felt like she was very knowledgeable on the werewolf species and knew she had a better chance of defeating the pack and killing their alpha now that she knew their strengths and weaknesses. Bella only spent one hour on her research, which meant she still had four hours until she arrived at Felix's house. She was sat, bored, as she didn't realise she would read that quickly and was now unsure of what she would do to satisfy her boredom. She decided that the best way to get rid of boredom was to play a game, so she grabbed her phone from her pocket and started to play. She spent a total of three hours on her phone, and when she finished with her game, she was almost at the alpha's house. She quickly repeated her plan over in her head, whispering as she did so, and when she knew she had it completely memorised and all the details were fully perfected, she started grabbing some weapons that weren't already hidden in her clothes and before she knew it, she had arrived at the alpha's house. Bella climbed out of the car and quickly thanked her driver and walked stealthily to the front gates, hiding so she wouldn't be caught by any cameras. Her well thought out plan was finally becoming reality, and Bella was completely prepared and ready for her mission. She watched through the windows as people walked around in the house and counted how many there were. She had counted 9 but saw no sign of the alpha, Felix. Before she could get caught, Bella quickly walked past the gate and hid quietly in a nearby bush, praying that nobody saw her and ruined her whole plan. Luckily, it seemed nobody noticed as she ran for the bushes, so she was safe to carry on with her dangerous task of killing a whole pack of werewolves. Bella silently hid in the bushes, making no sound, waiting for everybody to leave the front room so she could find a way to somehow sneak in and capture the wolves. The more Bella thought it over, the more it seemed completely unrealistic and impossible, but she knew she had to try.
