“No,” Linda cuts her off. “No what-ifs. We’ve come too far. Sacrificed too much. Very soon, everything will fall into place. Lyra will be out of the way, and you’ll finally take your place as Luna and mate to Ethan.”
Chloe slowly nodded, biting her bottom lip.
“Soon,” Linda said again, this time more to herself. “Very soon, our plans will be accomplished.”
