Chloe tiptoed down the marble staircase, holding her shoes in one hand. She winced each time a floorboard made a sound beneath her weight. The house was quiet and she knew her father was out doing his alpha’s business but her, mother doesn't know her whereabouts, maybe she’s with her friends.
She sighs, I just need to go out for a while and also to see him.
