Lyra’s Pov continues…
Coming back home, I stormed off to her room. And Richard had seen Chase and me return and began walking over to meet us, but he stopped in his tracks as he watched me walk away angrily.
“What could’ve possibly prompted her to walk away like that?” he muttered.
“Chase,” he called out.
“Yes, Father?”
“What made your sister walk away like that? What happened?”
“A lot happened, Father. They didn’t really accept her at school. She was treated like an outcast.”
“You could have homeschooled her rather than making her go through so much trauma from the other wolf shifters.”
Richard sighed. “The laws of this pack—and others—hate human-wolf hybrids. You can’t force them to like her. This feud has been going on for a long time.”
“I know, but what would you have me do?”
