NOAH'S MISTAKE

SPRING BREAK

I was sitting by the pool with the gang when I heard this girl come out giggling saying "never fear we are here." I look up and pull down my sunglasses and see this tall blond girl come waltzing in with Noah in tow. I look her up and down, turn my head and continue sunning myself. All of a sudden I hear "Little lady I brought you out a drink" I look up "oh, hey Adam thanks." He leans down and kisses me on the cheek. I take a sip of my drink and close my eyes again. Then all of a sudden I sit up and say "ah s**t I so am not up for this." I look at Rachel and she says "ah hell run" I get up and run under the awning just as I hear Lee yell "Geronimo" and he lands in the pool splashing Noah, his female friend, and Adam. I start to giggle and walk to Adam "how many times do I have to tell you if Rachel or I say run you need to get under the awning." He wraps his arm around me and pulls me close "it's because I still can't believe you and Lee have that twin telepathy when your not even twins. I actually believe it is better than mine and Gloria's." "You two come pretty close" He leans in and I turn my head and he kisses me on the cheek. All of a sudden I yell "oh no you don't Lee" and take off running. I hear Gloria "bro aren't you going to help your girl" "nope the last time I broke up a game between her and Lee she didn't talk to me for two days. I am so not going there I am still trying to get her to let me kiss her" I froze and turned to look at him and I glance at Noah who is staring between us and I just rush into the house and up to Lee's room and lock myself in.

A few minutes later I hear a knock on the door. I yell "go away" "Please little lady let me in I am sorry I didn't know who he was" "please Adam just go back to the pool I will be down in a minute and can you send up my twin." then I hear "you might want to do what she says if you don't want her mad at you." "like I would listen to advice from you" "Please Little lady let me in" All of a sudden I hear him singing "It's your love It just does something to me It sends a shock right through me I can't get enough And if you wonder About the spell I'm under Oh it's your love" I start to giggle and I open the door. "ok what song is that and who sings that one. It is called It's your love by Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill." I shake my head and ask "do all Texas cowboys try to serenade someone when they make a mistake." "Nope just me. Especially when I reveal a secret between me and my little lady" I shake my head "ok, but I still need to talk to Lee." "ok, I will be back." I walk back in and right before I close my door I hear "Shelly can we talk" I turn to him and raise my eyebrow at him and say "what did I tell you...oh, never mind. If I want our families to go back to the way there were before there was an us I guess I have to start acting like I used to so what do you want NOOO...AAAAAH." "Really he trying here and you are being a b***h it is like I said you don't deserve him and never have." I turn and look at her and say and "who are you" "a friend b***h" before I could deck her Noah grabs my arm and pulls me back and says "And I told you not to say anything to her about what is going on between me and her. If I have to choose she will win. No, matter what she is part of my family she is my little brother's twin and as far as my parents are concerned she is their daughter I will not let you treat her like this for my mistake. She moved on I have to accept that and if you can't leave." I stood there stunned taking it all in. I looked at Lee and said "well that was new" "yeah, twin it was. you forgiving him" "to get back together no, I am in a good place now with Adam as a member of our family well yes. I can't imagine my life without my Flynn boys." the girl looked at me and said "you really don't' care do you" I looked at her and say "I care more than you know. I cried myself to sleep every day for months. It wasn't until recently I have been happy." "Yeah, the day after he left he was going to call you back and tell you he made a mistake, what made him realize he screwed up was when some guy yelled at him when he called you. That was Adam's first day in school for the first two weeks of school an upperclassman is assigned to a new student to guide them through the do's and don'ts at our school. I was Adam's mentor since I am on the soccer team and he is on the football team and our fields are close together. Also, Noah was an i***t to believe that picture since it came from the biggest asshole our school has and all he likes to do is cause trouble especially for me and Noah when we were together because of the fact Noah stopped him from making me skinny dip with him last year.
