ADAM'S SECOND CHANCE

Adam didn't let it go. The first school day after the incident at the arcade Adam showed up to Lee's car with a single red rose got down on one knee and started to sing "Wanted one good hearted woman To forgive imperfection In the man that she loves Wanted just one chance to tell her How much he stills loves her He can't be sorry enough Wanted" Look at him and grin and shake my head "really Adam, are you going to do this every time I get mad at you" "yes and before you ask it is Wanted by Alan Jackson." I look down at him smile and say "this does not necessarily mean we can go back to the way we were but we can try to fix us. You are forgiven." He picks me up and spins me around he leans in to kiss me I place my finger on his lips "nope not yet and not here. Our first kiss is not going to be in the middle of the school parking lot if I decide to kiss you." He just smiles and pulls me into a hug "as long as you are giving me a second chance I don't care."

We end up walking to class together when I see Tuppen he comes up to me and asks "Everything ok now Evans." "Yeah, I should tell you something." Adam looks at me and says "I should let you go so you two can talk." I stop him "no, you can stay. Look first off Adam my mom and Lee's mom were best friends...after explaining everything I continued. The reason Lee and I planned Saturday as our bestie day was because it was the anniversary of my mom's passing it helps keep my mind off the fact she is not here but unfortunately, our mom's bestie song came on and I lost it and so did Lee so we were just consoling each other." Adam wrapped his arm around me and said: "I know Lee told me and I am so sorry." Tuppen looked at him "dude I am telling you this now. Since she has decided to give you another chance you are off the hook but you ever hurt like this again the team is going to kick your ass. Evans is the sweetest girl here and after that asshat, Flynn broke her heart the way he did the last thing we want is for her to be hurt again." Adam looks at him and says "ok" Tuppen nods and says "with that said you need to understand Lee and Evans are glued at the hip. Everyone here knows if you date one the other one is part of the package and if you can't handle it you need to get out now. They will not choose someone else. Lee has had several girlfriends before Rachel and none of them lasted because the girls made him choose. Just so you know there are guys here ready to pounce now that Flynn is gone." With that, he turned and walked away.

Adam looked at me and said, "didn't know my girlfriend was the most popular girl in school." I shook my head "nope, sorry Adam we are back to square one. You have to prove you can handle Lee before we go back to being that. As of right now, we are just dating." He looked at me and told me "I will get you back." As we walked in to class Duncan has to be a goofball and yells "he, Elle how about me...you...make out session" I shake my head and say back "Duncan do you even know how to have a make-out session" Everyone in the room starts to laugh and the guys start pushing him around he yells back "well at least my first kiss wasn't at a kissing booth" I grin "well at least I have had my first kiss unlike you" He shakes his head "hey, I have been kissed." "where is the proof, Duncan. No one doubts my first kiss seeing it was at a kissing booth in front of the whole school." With that everyone jeers at Duncan and shortly after the teacher calls the class to order. Adam and I separated to go to our next classes and agreed to meet up with the gang at lunch.

When I finally make my way to lunch Duncan starts up "seriously Elle you had to go there." I looked at him shake my head "seriously Duncan you had to leave yourself wide open." Everyone laughs. All of a sudden my phone rings and when I glance at it I see the call is from Noah and Adam groans I shoot him a glare and answer the phone. "what Noah" "are you alone" "nope I am with the gang." "can you go somewhere alone" "sure hang on" "guys be back in a bit." I walk away from the group and ask "what's up Noah" "look I know I f****d up and I want to make it up to you but I need to know how are things with you and Adam" "Well, we are dating again but nothing serious I told him he needs to prove he can handle Lee plus I need to explain to him that no matter what you will also be a part of my life because we are family like I said." "So, we are just family" "Noah, what are you getting at." "look like I said I messed up I am coming in this weekend and I want to know if you will go out with me please Shelly. Give me a chance to make it up to you" I couldn't help myself and smiled "well, I guess that sound good but I need to make sure Adam understands that we are not exclusive I don't need him to spread that I cheated on him with you." "I understand Shelly but at least we can go out as friends so we can at least go back to that." "Yeah, I would like that Noah. Bye" "bye Shelly and even if all we end being after this is friends I Love you."
