Pietro didn’t want to leave Antonio, so instead he wore a trench inside the tent’s dirt floor. What if that newspaper fell into Tap Tap’s hands? Surely he wasn’t smart enough to see Pietro’s pin code? He had no doubt that if it got into the right hands, his Rossa would know exactly how to read it. But then, what would she do with it? How would she feel? Had he imagined it all? NO!

There was a huge commotion outside the tent. So huge that Pietro left his vigil of Antonio to check it out. A bedraggled bunch of about a hundred newly captured prisoners was being herded through the main gate.
