Surprise After Surprise
Pietro had been out of The Hole for two days. In spite of the seven showers he’d had since his release, he could still smell the stench on his person.
His side hurt like a b***h. He’d taken two pills yesterday because he’d heard it would be a week till they were ready to be shipped home. Timing was everything.
