Sisters ELENA’S POV: We climbed out of the car, and headed inside the mall. We passed by her favorite brands of clothes that she always wears, and grabbed a few things. I have to beg her just to go to Forever21. She says that she’s not really a fan of the brand, but i said this is the only brand that I could afford. She gave me a ridiculous look, “Don’t you ask for money from your father?” She asked. Her brows are furrowed in confusion. I shake my head, and said, “No. I like to spend my own money,” I mumble. She looked at me for a few seconds, with indescribable look. “Fine. Let’s go inside.” she  says, defeated. To my surprise, she also grabbed a few dresses and jeans. I smirked. “I thought you don’t like cheap items?” I joke. She gave me a sassy look, “Well, I didn’t know that I would,” I laughed at her response. She joins me. I grabbed a pair of high waisted jeans. The denim material is too stretchy that it feels like a second skin when worn. I bought some crop tops, and plain tees. The red dress caught my eyes. It’s a low ‘V’ cut on the front, that has a thin straps. The cuts on the back are too low. I smiled, I would love to see Michael’s reaction if he ever gets the chance of seeing me wearing that dress. I grabbed the dress with a wide smirk plastered on my face. I mentally slapped myself, and remind myself that Michael and I are done. There’s no way in hell he would see me wearing this dress. Rebecca offers to pay for the clothes I shop, but I refused. There’s no way in hell I would let her pay for it. The time is running too fast that we both didn’t notice that it was already dark outside. The rain has stop falling, and silently thank the sky. I hate rain, and the coldness it brings. Our stomaches complains in unison, and we both decide to eat in a Samgyupsal Restaurant.  “I’ve never had a korean food before,” She says. Her voice was delighted. “You won’t regret eating there, I’m telling you. That restaurant was the reason why I always gained some weight.” I said. We greedily gets to the vacant table, and settled ourselves. As I have expected, we ate more than we expected, and drank too much soda that it makes us both difficult to seat upright. “I’ll never eat here again.” She complains. I laughed, “Oh. You will. I’ve said that before.” She giggled.  “Where would I sleep tonight?” I said out loud. It was too late already when I thought about it. There’s no way in hell I would sleep back in his house after all the horrible things he just said to me. “You could sleep in my house. My parents won’t mind.” Rebecca offers. “No. I don’t want to bother you any further.” I said. But, she insists and told me that I could sleep in her house whenever I want. I thanked her. I dialled my dad’s number and he immediately picks up the call. “Elena,” Daddy said through the phone. His voice was tired, but he was too quick to replace it with enthusiasm.  “How was work, dad?” I asked. Rebecca looks at me, hearing me said ‘dad’. She smiles. He chuckles, “Oh. everything is fine, sweetie.” “How was your day?” “It was fine. I’m with Rebecca and we bought a few things in the mall.” And, I met your ex-wife. Who was wickedly smiling at me. But, of course, I wouldn’t said that out loud to him. Rebecca is still her niece, no matter how much she despices Louisa. “That’s good to hear.” Daddy mumble. I clear my throat, “I was planning if I could move out tonight in your house.” I said. My voice was uncertain. I’m still shy to him, or maybe, I’m just not really used to having someone to lean. For I have spent almost my whole life alone, that I couldn’t lean to anyone but myself.  “In our house.” He corrects me. But, his voice was sweet. “Yes, baby. Anytime, I would be very much happy to have you in our house.” I smiled. “Thank you. I’ll see you tonight,” I said. He asked me who will help me move out my things, and I told him it’s Rebecca. He said I love you, and I didn’t hesitate to say it back to him. When I turned my head towards Rebecca, her cheeks are flushed and her eyes are with tears. “Why are you crying?” I asked, gesturing at her face. “You guys are so sweet.” She chimes, and her voice breaks at the edge. My cheeks reddened, as I feel embarrassed that she just caught me saying ‘I love you’ to my father. “I don’t know when will I get used to this. All my life, I have grown up fatherless. But, that will not stop me from telling him how I love him. The faith has already deceive me that moment, I won’t let pride take it away from me again.” I said, honestly. “I’m happy that you’re happy, Elena. Don’t let any man take that away from you, not even James or Michael. Those two boys, they take after their father for being a world class jackass.” She said, and I laughed. It’s really good to have someone like her in times like this. It makes me miss Tristan, my best friend. Sometimes, no matter how sad I am. He was the only person who could make me laugh and forget about my problem just for a little while. “At least, James was nice to me.” I defended him. I remember the first time I met him last year. He was just a freshman, and me no more less than a sophomore year.
