Fire. That was all Kyra could see as she ran. Everywhere from horizon to horizon was covered with it; thick red hot flames which rose so high that it was hard to see anything besides it. Kyra didn't know where she was, not a single tree, structure, or even a ruin stood in sight. There was only the fire that raged on every side of her. She also couldn't understand why it was that she was running, or from what or whom she was trying to escape.
