Ashley sipped her cocktail and watched in amusement as Henry and Adrian continued to bicker. They sat in a secluded area of a high-end restaurant. They had been at it for a while. She wanted to meddle, but she decided against it. They were the ray of sunshine on an otherwise gloomy day. An attempted murder on her life. Eric had attempted to kill his brother and now had most likely attacked Mason. He wasn’t afraid to kill again. She tried not to think about it. Henry was still pretty shaken about her near-death experience, she didn’t want to alarm him further.
