“Are you sure you've packed everything you need and not forgetting anything dear?” Mrs. Knight asked Selena for the hundredth time that morning as She looked through the kitchen drawers for mosquito repellents. “I highly doubt they had anything essential packed. You can't lean on those two for packing anything important. I hope you know that.”
“Yes Mom, believe me, I know. I've packed everything accordingly. I've everything we need.” Selena answered going through the drawers. She remembered seeing the repellents in the drawers a few days ago.
“Are you sure?” Mrs. Knight asked for confirmation. It was the first time they were going to the Lakehouse alone. They have always been there together, the whole family.
“Yes Mom, all I need now is those repellents, and then I'll be good to go,”
