Chapter 10 He didn’t get more than a few minutes of consecutive slumber that night. Something about sharing the building with a reluctant and terrified family, alongside the monster that unsettled them, made him uncomfortable with losing consciousness. Only Terrell’s soft touch in a shared, real bed resulted in any sleep at all. For his part, Terrell got at least four hours.
