Days and weeks passed with practically no problems internally or externally at Kenna’s Crossing. The warmer weather and an occasional half-day of sunshine worked miracles on the local animal and plant populations. Rada could barely keep up with the fruits and vegetables sprouting from her little garden. Everyone ate well, in addition to canning, pickling, and drying as much of the food as they could, for later use.
