It took more than an hour to unload and give direction to the workers. Dakota and his companions were the last to know the exact location that would become their new stronghold. It was a small natural clearing near the side of a lake, north of a dead town. Their spot was surrounded by a large forest, which shielded it from view by anyone or anything that may be traversing the landscape. Streams, rock formations, thick trees, and the body of water all acted as pre-existing protections. A few people could easily guard the place from any kind of attacker, just by merit of knowing the landscape and using it to their advantage. Never mind the cache of weapons and their magic stones. The workers and Dakota joined in saying their goodbyes to Gall and the others. Terrell and Raz hung back. Varaz
